acoba-ec donates 45 multi media computers to ananda

the acoba - east coast donated 45 multi media computers to the ananda college primary section. the used pentium computers which were received from the united nations were upgraded to 128mb ram and installed with sound cards and speakers. the computers have been loaded with interactive educational software, which will enable the young anandians to improve their english communication skills.  a computer will be installed in each primary section classroom. the acoba east coast has spent $ 4,230 for the project, which was funded mainly from the proceeds of the recently held maroon's nite dinner dance and the generous contribution of an old anandian. the english language development committee of the old boys' association of ananda college will handle the local logistics and implementation of the project. in an era where it and english language skills are imperative to survive in the business world, we are hopeful that our efforts will place the foundation required for our young anandians to build a bright future.
